Chuck Sharpe

Board Certified Attorney

Chuck established Sharpe Law Group in 2003 after six years in the Personal Financial Counseling group at Ernst & Young. Since graduating law school, his focus has been providing traditional estate planning and sophisticated wealth planning strategies to the high net worth and ultra-high net worth community.  Chuck’s client base includes high net worth individuals and families, entrepreneurs, and corporate executives with diverse estate planning, estate tax and asset protection needs.  Having originally practiced as part of the financial advisory community and in public accounting, Chuck combines his legal experience, financial planning expertise and tax knowledge to provide clients with coordinated and innovative approaches to estate planning, wealth transfer planning and asset protection, while reducing their exposure to estate taxes and income taxes.

Chuck’s approach to estate planning has always been to coordinate with a client’s financial advisors, accountants, life insurance professionals and family attorneys to provide them with holistic estate planning strategies.  He also works with Trustees and Executors to provide advice and support for the proper and efficient administration of trusts and estates.

Chuck is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a regular presenter to the financial planning sector regarding estate planning and the coordination with financial plans.  Prior to entering law school, Chuck practiced as a CPA in Oklahoma at KPMG.  He is a graduate of Texas Christian University (1992) and the University of Oklahoma College of Law (1997) and is a member of the Texas and Oklahoma Bars.
